Who

are

we?

Ellie West - President & Editor-in-Chief

Ellie is a junior at the University of Arizona and is the founder of NHPL. She is pursuing a degree in Creative Writing and in Classical Civilization.

Sam Feldman - Vice President

Sam is a senior at the University of Arizona and is pursuing degrees in Creative Writing and Music. In her spare time, she sings in six choirs around town and is the music director of Enharmonics A Cappella. Her best and only friend is a black maine coon named Rubeus (you may call him 'Professor') and she plans on being a student for the rest of her goddamn life.

J.T. Miller - Graphic Design Visionary

In 1993, J.T. Miller was born and has reportedly been trying to return to his mother's womb ever since. The only surviving interview we have with him records him saying, "I'm not an alcoholic, and I hate cliches about writers." Histories and poetry have touched the hearts and minds of humanity through generations. He lives in Sacramento, California with his wife, three children, two cats, Dog (their pet tarantula), four dogs, one canary, one finch, seven fish (Goldfish, Cichlid, Angel, Betta, Betta, Molly, Loach), and two kids. He enjoys fast food, salsa dancing, and long walks off the beach. He is known for his obsession with fashion and post-modernism, both being his last word on his death bed. Most notable was his rendition of "Love Me Tender" by Elvis, being described as "a warbler in the distance." His gravestone reads, "GOOD THING I BELIEVE IN REINCARNATION"

Eric Webster - Photographer

Eric was born in Iceland, grew up in England and now lives in Arizona. He is a senior at the University of Arizona earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television. Eric is a very busy adult with many important things to do.

Emma Grove - Secretary

Emma is a senior at the U of A, an English Major. She has an AAS in Film and Digital Arts, and has been writing for the last twelve years. Science Fiction and Fantasy are her main points of interest, favoring long and short stories, films, and television dramas. She intends to teach English overseas, and return for a graduate degree, and hopefully achieve a PhD.

Kelcey Rockhold - Treasurer

Kelcey works as an editor when she isn't writing, and has been on an ongoing quest to build the most efficient Time Machine known to man. She is an advocate for Mental Health Awareness through her writing, public speaking (and sometimes at lift off with fellow passengers on airplanes), wanting to decrease the stigma that surrounds those who struggle. Planning to outlive her immortal beagle, whom she enjoys having intellectual debates with, she is thankful that she can use her would-be funeral fund to travel instead.

Brian Bell - Inaccessible Motherfucker

Brian Bell is a senior at the University of Arizona, studying to become an Engineer (according to an anonymous source), but that doesn't matter, because his true passion in life is giving people the wrong phone number and remaining maddeningly "on the DL." He never answers his phone and was never taught how to read or send emails. It is suspected that an angry ex-girlfriend and/or Russian spy took the liberty of creating a Facebook profile for Brian in the hopes of using his friends and family members as sources of further information about Brian. Nobody is falling for this trick, however, because the Russian spy is pretty lazy and seems to forget to log in as "Brian" for months at a time.
